Bespoke Wedding Hats & Headpieces in Gloucestershire

Our Bespoke Service

At Annabel Allen Millinery, I specialise in creating one-off bespoke hats and headpieces, designed especially for you and your special occasion from my studio in Gloucestershire

Whether you are a Mother of the Bride or Groom looking for a bespoke wedding hat, or a wedding guest looking for a completely unique headpiece I will work with you to create a something beautiful to complement your outfit, personal style and budget.

Based in the beautiful Cotswold countryside just outside Dursley, consultations with Annabel are available in person, over the phone or online.

Your Design

During your consultation, we will discuss your outfit, colours, the occasion and the style you are hoping to achieve. If you're not sure what shape or style would suit you, don't worry, I'll help you find something that makes you feel fabulous.

I offer an in-house colour-matching service using hand-dyeing techniques, and can also incorporate fabrics from your outfit for the perfect finish, whether creating a bespoke design or customising one of our existing designs.

From Design to Finished Piece

Once we have agreed on your design, I will keep you updated throughout the making process with photographs emailed to you. This means that, even if you are unable to visit the studio for a fitting, you can see your piece taking shape and make sure you're completely happy before completion.

Pricing & timescales

For an idea of pricing please see the Collection hats.  If it is a simple colour customisation on an existing design then there is no additional fee if it is a stock colour or £60 per colour if it needs to be dyed to match in house.

Once your bespoke order has been placed, a 50% deposit is required before work begins.

We generally allow 3–4 weeks before dispatch, depending on the time of year, however if your occasion is sooner, please get in touch.

Where possible, we will always try to accommodate your timeframe.

* To achieve the best results for colour matching we strongly advise that you provide a sample of the original fabric; whether it be an item of clothing or a scrap of the fabric.  Please be aware that different fabrics vary in the amount of light they reflect, thus altering the appearance of the colour; hence colour matches cannot always be exact.
