1 or 2 Day Course

Enjoy a truly personalised creative experience with one-to-one tuition. With my full attention, your workshop is tailored entirely to your goals—whether you want to design a hat for a special occasion, create a sunhat that finally fits perfectly, or bring your collection of decorative treasures to life.

Step into a calm, inspiring studio space and spend a day (or two) completely immersed in creativity. Leave the desk, the kids, and the to-do list behind, and treat your artistic senses to a rejuvenating “creative spa day.”

No experience needed — just your imagination.

1 day:

You could expect to achieve any of the following from a 1 day course

• A felt or straw fedora or cloche, simply trimmed
• A decorative sinamay headpiece
• A fabulous feather headband
• 2 types of hand-made silk rose
• A unique headpiece made from your own treasures
• A re-imagining of a hat that you own and would like to refresh

2 days:

You could expect to achieve any of the following from a 2 day course

• A full sinamay, panama straw or felt hat- brim and crown style with wired and bound edges
• A substantial "hatinator" style hat with wired and bound edges
• Decorations using sinamay, felt, feathers or treasures that you have brought for re-purposing to decorate your hat with

2. Supplier list
3. Homemade refreshments

Classes are held from 10am-4pm on a mutually convenient day.

A basic level of sewing is required- the more proficient in sewing, the more you will  achieve but I am on hand to help as much as you like to speed up the process!
