Silk Flower Making

Learn how to make a perfect silk rose from scratch using silk and flower making tools to create a beautiful flower to be used either on a headpiece, a corsage or simply for decoration.  The skills you learn for the rose can be used to create a variety of blooms with very few tools and can easily be done at home. 

You will learn the following skills:

1. How to Stiffen your silk
2. How to cut out your petals and then use heated flower making tools to shape each one individually
3. How to sew your petals together to create a perfect rose, attached to a wire stem and finished with a silk leaf.

This workshop includes:

1. All materials
2. Supplier list
3. Homemade refreshments

A very basic level of sewing is required.
